T-Type Steel Cut-Off Blades

The advantage of tapered blades is they can eliminate side rubbing that can affect surface finish.  But, keep in mind that tapered blades, because they are tapered back from their cutting width, will cut a progressively more narrow groove as they are re-ground when sharpened.
